Pultrusion Resin Manufacturer
Engineered Resins for High-Speed Profile Manufacturing
Consistent, high-reactivity polyester and vinyl ester systems for continuous FRP production.
Optimized for the Pultrusion Process
Pultrusion is a continuous molding process for producing composite materials with a constant cross-section. It requires a highly specialized resin system that can wet out fibers quickly and cure rapidly within the heated die.
Changyuan New Materials allows you to maximize your line efficiency. Our pultrusion resins are formulated for stable viscosity, rapid cure, and excellent surface finish.

Pultrusion FAQ
What is the ideal viscosity for pultrusion resin?
Typically, pultrusion resins require a viscosity range of 300-600 cps to ensure proper fiber impregnation. However, we can customize the viscosity based on your specific fiber content (glass loading) and die complexity.
Do your pultrusion resins contain internal mold release agents?
We offer both base resins and formulated systems. We can incorporate internal mold release agents (IMR) and low-profile additives (LPA) into the resin system upon request to simplify your mixing process.
Can you match the reactivity to our line speed?
Yes, reactivity is critical for pultrusion. We can adjust the catalyst system and resin promotion to match your specific die temperature profile and line speed, ensuring a complete cure without cracking.
What is the difference between pultrusion resin and hand lay-up resin?
Pultrusion resins are generally lower in viscosity and much higher in reactivity compared to hand lay-up resins. They are designed to cure in minutes at high temperatures within the die, whereas hand lay-up resins cure slowly at room temperature.
