Q: How do I prevent cracks in large castings?
Cracking is usually caused by excessive heat generation (exotherm) during cure. For large castings, use our 'Low Exotherm' casting resin series and build up thickness in multiple layers if necessary to manage heat dissipation.
Q: Can your casting resin be polished?
Yes, all our casting resins are designed to be machined and polished to a high-gloss finish. We recommend wet sanding up to 2000 grit followed by a high-quality buffing compound.
Q: What makes your artificial stone resin different?
