Q: Is fire retardant resin transparent?

Standard FR resins are typically opaque or translucent milky white due to the additives (like ATH or halides). However, we offer specific 'Translucent FR' grades for manufacturing rooflights that require light transmission.

Q: Does fire retardant resin lose mechanical strength?

Heavily filled FR resins (like ATH filled) can have slightly different mechanical properties compared to unfilled resins. We optimize our formulas to balance fire safety with the necessary structural integrity for your application.

Q: Can I use standard catalyst with FR resin?
